Install and pin

Add it to Chrome, pin it to the toolbar and check it's there.

ViralFeed installs from the Chrome Web Store like any other extension. There's no account to create and no card to leave: when it's done you can already sort.

Installing it

  1. Open the ViralFeed listing on the Chrome Web Store and press Add to Chrome.
  2. Chrome shows you the permissions it asks for. Accept.
  3. Done. No sign-up, no confirmation email, nothing to configure.

Pinning it to the toolbar

Chrome hides extensions inside a menu by default. It's worth pulling this one out:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon, top right.
  2. Find ViralFeed in the list and click the pin next to it.
  3. The icon stays in the toolbar, one click away.

Which browsers work

ViralFeed needs Chrome 111 or newer. It works the same in the other Chromium-based browsers — Edge, Brave, Comet — because they all install from the same store.

There's no Safari version and no mobile app. It's a desktop extension: it needs a browser with the network's page open in front of it.

Checking it's there

Open any creator's profile on Instagram and click the ViralFeed icon. If you get the form with «Number of posts», «Date» and «Sort by», you're set. If you get a notice instead, it'll tell you which page to open.
