Credits
How many there are, what spends them and when they come back.
Pro comes with 500 credits a month. They're the pot that downloads, scripts and exports of more than 25 posts come out of.
What spends them
- A download
- 1 credit per file. A three-image carousel is 3.
- The ♪ button
- 1 credit, like any other download.
- A script
- Seconds ÷ 60, to two decimals. A 1 min 24 s video is 1.4 credits. Photos spend nothing.
- An export of more than 25 posts
- 1 credit, once per sort. Further exports of that sort, in any format, spend nothing. Sorting again is a new sort.
What never spends them
- Sorting
- The outlier badge
- YouTube scripts
- Exporting up to 25 posts
When they come back
On the 1st of each month, automatically. There's nothing to press.
They don't roll over. What you don't spend in September isn't added to October: every month you start with your 500.
Promo codes
If you have a code, you redeem it in the extension's Settings, in the «Got a code?» box, or in your portal. The credits show up straight away.
Unlike plan credits, the credits from a code last for as long as that code says — 30 days from when you redeem it, however many it sets, or forever. Redeeming it tells you until when, and the date stays visible in your account.
They're spent first. While you have bonus credits left, they're used before your plan's: that way they don't expire on you unused.
And if you don't have a plan yet, some codes give you a free trial: redeeming one gets you a temporary key with its credits and its days, no card and no sign-up. The extension puts it in for you. When it runs out, you go back to the free plan.
When they run out, or don't cover it
Trying to download, get a script or export more than 25 posts brings up the notice, with the figure and the date: how many credits you had and which day they come back. Nothing downloads and you're not overcharged.
And if you have credits left but not enough for what you asked — four files with three credits, or a script that costs more than you have — it isn't done either: the notice tells you what it costs and what you have left, and nothing is charged.
Meanwhile you can still sort, get YouTube scripts and export up to 25 posts, which are free.
Where to see your balance
- In the extension's Settings, under the key box.
- In your portal, with a breakdown of where they went.
- In the extension's History, row by row.
