The messages you might run into, what they mean and what to do about each.
«This needs your Pro key»
No key is set. Open Settings and paste it into «Your key». If you don't have it to hand, it's in your portal.
«That key isn't valid»
Check you pasted it whole, with no spaces before or after. If it still won't take, copy it again from your portal.
«You've used up this month's credits»
The month's credits went on downloads, scripts and exports. They come back on the 1st. Meanwhile sorting, YouTube scripts and exporting up to 25 posts keep working.
«This costs … and your balance is …»
You have credits left, but not enough for what you asked. Nothing was done and nothing was charged. Ask for something smaller — fewer files, a shorter video — or wait for the 1st.
«A lot of people are getting scripts right now»
The script service is busy for a moment. Wait a couple of minutes and try again. Nothing was charged.
«This video is too long»
It's over the maximum size we can get a script from in one go. Nothing was charged. Try a shorter one.
«I couldn't read the post»
The page didn't have the data loaded. Reload and try again. If it happens repeatedly on one network, write to us: that network may have changed something under the hood.
The bar doesn't show up here
ViralFeed only sorts where there is a list by one author: profiles or a channel. It doesn't sort in the feed, on company pages, or inside an open post. The «Sort» tab tells you, network by network, which page to open. (On Instagram and TikTok Explore you will see each post's card with its three buttons, but no sorting.)
It stopped working overnight
Almost always the network changed something. Write to us saying which network and which page you were on, and send the diagnostics.
Copying the diagnostics
Settings → Help has a «Copy diagnostics» button. It sums up your version, your browser, whether a key is set, how many credits you have left, and the last few errors.
It carries no accounts, no posts and no key, and nothing is sent anywhere on its own: it goes to your clipboard and you paste it where you want.
